Distinguishing Features
Medium-sized, seasonally dormant, tuberous geophytes; leaf blade with reticulate fine venation and no submarginal collective veins; flowers unisexual, perigone absent; spadix fertile to apex; stigmas star-shaped. Differs from Croatiella and Incarum in its anatropous ovules and pinnatisect leaf blades which are essentially tripartite with the three divisions each once-pinnate. Differs from Incarum in flat or convex central surface of the synandrium.
